Institute for BFSV is an independend and certified Test- and Research Institut at the Hamburg University of Applied Science.
It was founded 1954 in Hamburg as an "Advice Center for seaworthy Packaging". As one of the first organizations worldwide their employees were undertaking extensive research of dispatchable export packaging. Cooperation with the industry results today more than 5,000 appraisals and surveys. We offer you in our range of packaging tests a wide spectrum of physical-technological checks of packaging material, packing material and packaging expedients. We do for you the clima-, corrosions- as well as shock- and vibrationtests e.g on systems, prefabricated parts and components. BFSV is accredited from the German accreditation advice (DAR) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2008. Our point of main interest is to help the producing and exporting companies, in Hamburg and Germany, as well as worldwide.
