Knock on wood: What crates can do

Wooden crates, whether from series production or made to measure, ensure safe handling and transport of products. They are suitable for use as export packaging for particularly sensitive goods, and also for heavy or bulky items.

We use compression tests and drop tests to test the quality of the packaging, for example in the context of hazardous goods approval. With the aid of transport simulation we can test how wooden crates and their contents react to the stresses of transport, handling and storage.

Special tests can even indicate the specific material parameters such as density or thickness swelling.
