Torque testing equipment for screw-caps/twist-off-caps

Too loose or too tight? Screw caps need an optimal torque so that bottles, tubes or glasses are sealed (airtight), but can still be opened in a customer-friendly manner. The BFSV test laboratories offer special screw cap torque measuring devices. The force moments of different screw cap diameters can be checked with these sensor devices.

Application of torque test sensors:

  • Measuring of opening and closure moment
  • Determination of minimal closure moments
  • Tests after ASTM
